Jason Garrett says Jerry Jones meeting was out of love

NFL Owners Are Reportedly Pressuring Their Players to Stop Protesting

Cowboys players were tight lipped after practice Wednesday about a private team meeting with owner Jerry Jones.

During Thursday's press conference, neither Garrett nor any of the players would talk specifically about what Jerry Jones told them on Wednesday during a Wednesday team meeting.

For starters, Jones said that President Donald Trump, who certainly has more important things to concern himself with, reminded him of the NFL Game Operations Manual, which explains how players should behave during the anthem and failure to do so could result in fines, suspensions and even lost draft picks. "The point is he is threatening anybody and everybody", Rathke told the newspaper.

When asked if he would really sit a player like Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Dez Bryant, Jones initially deferred. You can't just roll over someone's rights when they are a worker.

As far as what constitutes "disrespecting the flag", Jones said: "You'll know it when you see it". "We are trying to send Mr. Jones a message that there is a law here". Jones might be confused.

Australian Mom Wrestles Shark Back into Ocean With Her Bare Hands
Huge cheers could be heard in the background as she succeeded in lifting the shark up and threw it back into the sea. The real estate agent went down to the pool with her kids and said it was easy to spot the shark swimming around.

Jones said his statements were created to play the bad guy and deflect attention away from the frustrated players, according to a report.

Defensive end David Irving was one of two Cowboys to raise a fist after the national anthem on Sunday. He spoke of a plan that will be reviewed with the teams at next week's league meeting, which would "include such elements as an in-season platform to promote the work of our players on these core issues".

"There's been cases that have been pretty broad in terms of the concerted activity, terms and conditions of employment could be pretty broad", Green said.

Before the anthem of that game, players stood arm in arm with Jones, other front office executives, coaches and staff and took a knee.

"I believe he has the right to do that as an employer", Kornheiser said, adding that he dismissed Miami Dolphins owner Dennis Ross' new rule that protesting players must stay in the tunnel during the anthem.
