Wisconsin could be big loser under Senate health-care plan

He said that the new plan will give Americans less comprehensive health care coverage and estimates that the bill will increase deductibles, defund Planned Parenthood, impose a "crushing age tax" on middle age Americans, and rollback safeguards to prevent lifetime insurance limits. "And I'm announcing today that in this form, I simply will not support it".

In March, when House Republicans published their bill to replace Obamacare-the American Health Care Act-I described it in Forbes this way: "GOP's Obamacare Replacement Will Make Coverage Unaffordable For Millions-Otherwise, It's Great".

In nearly the exact words used yesterday by Collins, Heller said he could not support any bill that took away health insurance from "tens of millions of people". Some Republican senators say the bill doesn't go far enough and are calling for a complete repeal.

Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, said seven to eight additional senators including herself were troubled by provisions in the Senate bill that she believes could cut Medicaid for the poor even more than the House version.

Rand Paul, R-Ky., speaks to reporters at the Capitol after Republicans released their long-awaited bill to scuttle much of President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act, at the Capitol in Washington. McConnell can lose only two of the 52 Senate Republicans.

Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., said on CBS' Face the Nation that he was undecided on the bill, as did Sen.

Sen. Susan Collins of ME reiterated her opposition to language blocking federal money for Planned Parenthood, which many Republicans oppose because it provides abortions.

"Unfortunately, the Senate bill is an amendment to ObamaCare, not a repeal of it", said FreedomWorks President Adam Brandon.

"This Senate bill needs to get better", Phillips said. It would also slap annual spending caps on the overall Medicaid program, which since its inception in 1965 has provided states with unlimited money to cover eligible costs.

"Health care is very very tough thing to get. but I think we're going to get it".

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell wants the bill to come to a vote by July 4th.

Real Madrid is bigger than Ronaldo - Figo
The story comes from a journalist who is particularly close to Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes. As for his tax evasion trial, that's another matter completely.

"It's going to be very hard to get me to a yes", he said, noting that conservative Republican senators would likely be reluctant to add spending back to the measure.

This first lie is important because it rationalizes the Republican claim that the bill has to be draconian because it can't pass without support from the party's most right-wing legislators.

Adding it is particularly interesting that neither Senator Cotton, nor Senator Boozman, have publicly backed or opposed the bill, considering the vast impact it will have on Arkansans.

Brewer said cutting Medicaid eventually will cause private insurance premiums to rise because people losing coverage will seek treatment in hospital emergency rooms. He said the state's uninsured rate declined from 23% before the Affordable Care Act to 11 or 12% afterward. "And I'm open arms; but, I don't see that happening".

Some might benefit from the new senate proposal, but others might not, depending on your circumstances.

"As we did with all 435 Members of the House of Representatives, AARP will also hold all 100 Senators accountable for their votes on this harmful health care bill".

The Senate bill calls for phasing out the enhanced federal support for the expansion by 2024.

We're going to have to see what the Congressional Budget Office says about what this would do the insurance system and what it would do the federal deficit.

"We strongly urge the Senate to reject this bill".

However Obama, whose best-known domestic policy achievement stands to crumble, offered a scathing critique of the new bill just hours after its release.
