Disney devotee visits park for 2000 days in a row

"I love going on the attractions, you know, the music and everything", Reitz said.

Jeff Reitz, of Huntington Beach, California visited Disneyland for his 2,000th consecutive time on June 22, 2017.

Reitz utilizes the $1,049 Disney Signature Plus Passport, which allows him to visit one or both of the Disneyland parks for about $3 a day.

"I'm going to Disneyland again", Reitz said Thursday, his 2,000th day in a row visiting the park. After succeeding at going everyday that entire leap year, they were rewarded by the park with a night in the Disneyland Dream Suite.

He said: "I love walking around taking pictures, talking with cast members and guests".

By the beginning of 2013, Reitz had visited the parks for 365 consecutive days, and chose to just keep going. "I never expected that it would turn into this much when I started coming".

Reitz has some advice for Disneyland visitors: Get the Disneyland app for smartphones to keep up with wait times and ride closures and use the FastPass system to reserves times for the most popular attractions.

The Air Force veteran told KNBC, "It was something to do to keep things fun". "I come, I talk to people, but no one put it together until today".

Reitz calls it a treat to go the park every day. "With the summertime crowds and the heat I tell people to relax and have fun".

"My current pass is good until January of 2018, then we'll see".
