The Spain global has been strongly linked with a switch to Manchester United this summer and is understood to be close to completing a £60m transfer.

Mourinho has set his sights on signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata to bolster his strike force for the new season. He is due to be married to fiancee Alice Campello in Venice on 17 June, meaning the 24-year-old will complete his United medical next week.

According to Goal.com, United and Real are close to agreeing a fee for the transfer of the Spain global.
