Trump financial form shows revenue up at Mar-a-Lago

Trump says he is being investigated over Comey firing

He has at least $1.4 billion in assets and reported at least $594 million in income from January 2016 through this spring.

The report, which the president voluntarily filed with the Office of Government Ethics, shows that he collected an influx of new revenue from recent foreign deals and a surge of business at his signature Mar-a-Lago property in Florida. They also criticize his detractors, blurring the line between the Trump Organization and the Trump White House.

The disclosure form, which totals 98 pages, is the third submitted by Trump to OGE since declaring his candidacy two years ago.

Trump drew scrutiny and criticism after he departed from roughly 40 years of tradition for major-party candidates by declining to release any of his tax returns. Royalties from the 1987 autobiography ranged between $100,000 and $1 million, according to the new report.

The disclosure does not reveal when the investments were sold. But Trump did not divest, instead placing his enormous portfolio of financial assets in a trust. The document covers January 2016 to April of this year.

The 98-page document shows that Trump's newly opened Washington hotel took in nearly $20 million in revenue during its first months of operation, which coincided with Trump's election victory and inauguration.

Trump reported liabilities of at least $110 million to Ladder Capital Corp, a commercial real estate lender with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Boca Raton, Florida.

For the first time, Trump reported earning income from Trump Tower in Kolkata, India, where he holds a licensing agreement with local developers. He said he received more than $100,001 from the deal.

Ronaldo planning to leave Real
Of course, Portugal showed in last year's Euro final that it can be a team that's tough to beat even without Ronaldo on the field. Obviously we will have special considerations for him, for the magnificent player that he is".

All told, Trump brought in approximately $600 million to $650 million in employment assets and income - or maybe more.

The newest form lays out the steps Trump took after November's victory to shift his assets around to avoid conflicts of interest.

Trump faces three lawsuits already over that ban, with groups such as Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, or CREW, and more than 200 members of Congress suing over the constitutional ban.

Other properties he has frequented since becoming president - his golf clubs in New Jersey and Virginia - earned almost the same income.

Becoming president forced Donald Trump to resign from a slew of corporate positions, but it also appears to have netted him much more income from his Mar-a-Lago resort and from book sales. In total, Trump reported about $315 million in liabilities, around the same as previous year.

Trump voluntarily filed the disclosure with the assistance of the Office of Government Ethics, following a practice of President Barack Obama.

The hotel is the subject of lawsuits that charge that the hotel, among other business interests is a violation of the emoluments clause, which is meant to prevent foreign governments from influencing government officials with improper presents or payments.
