Ronaldo may leave Real Madrid after tax fraud accusation

Ronaldo may leave Real Madrid after tax fraud accusation

Ronaldo was making the headlines on Friday, two days before Portugal's Confederations Cup debut in Russian Federation, because of a report that said he wants to leave Real Madrid and Spain following allegations that he defrauded the country's tax authorities.

Spanish prosecutors have accused the four-time Ballon d'Or victor of defrauding Spanish authorities of €14.7m between 2011 and 2014, an accusation Ronaldo is contesting.

Silva said: "I have said many times that it is a dream to play with Ronaldo". He's very sad and really upset.

The two French clubs are financially superior to the majority of Ligue 1 sides, and with United being the only English possibility and Ronaldo wanting to leave Spain, France is certainly an option. It claimed his decision was "irreversible" and that he has already told his Madrid team-mates that he want to leave.

Ronaldo's adviser's want him to stay in Europe and move to Paris St-Germain.

A Spanish prosecutor has accused Cristiano Ronaldo of avoiding £14.7 million in tax, he denies these accusations.

Madrid released a statement backing their star, asking for justice to be done "so that his innocence can be proven as soon as possible".

US Baseball Attack Elevates Partisan Politics to National Security Threat
The doctor said Scalise has been sedated although the dosage has been turned down to allow him to respond to family members. Scalise and three others were shot by 66-year-old James Hodgkinson during a GOP baseball practice on Wednesday.

As expected, United fans have had plenty to say on the speculation surrounding the Champions League victor, who spent nine years of his career at Old Trafford before joining Madrid.

Instantly, Manchester United have emerged as favourites to sign the four-time Champions League victor if he does indeed leave Real Madrid this summer, although the MLS is also an option.

From time to time, rumours abound that Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way out at Real Madrid.

Ronaldo spent six seasons at Manchester United after Sir Alex Ferguson managed to prise him away from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

As such, the forward has made clear his position to Florentino Perez, the Real Madrid president, and is now "determined" to leave Spain.

"The situation became so tense that Jorge Mendes had to convince Cristiano not to say anything in public about the matter until after the Champions League final in Cardiff as to not destabilise the team ahead of such a massive game", Tomas Roncero wrote in AS.

Manchester United will be hoping to make Morata their second summer signing after the Red Devils confirmed the capture of defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica last week.
