Golden State Warriors on the brink of history

No NBA team has ever rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win a playoff series, let alone the Finals.

If it is tonight in Game 4 at Cleveland, the Warriors will become that record-breaking National Basketball Association franchise, the first to go 16-0 in the playoffs by sweeping the Portland Trailblazers, Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs and the Cavaliers all in four straight. There are those who believe that Golden State won the first series in 2015 because of the season-ending injuries during the playoffs to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, Cleveland players, but deny that Cleveland won the championship a year ago because Draymond Green, a key component of the Warriors, was suspended for Game 5.

James had 27 first-half points and Irving 17, but no one else had more than six for the Cavs.

"It's probably the most, most firepower I've played in my career", James said.

"And I think when you get guys playing 45, 44 minutes, basically attacking one-on-one the whole game, it's-you hope eventually it's going to take its toll", Kerr added.

"Then go on to the next game", Jefferson said, "and then go on to the next game and see what happens".

UK Election: Theresa May to form government with DUP backing
It once opposed the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Northern Ireland with the slogan: "Save Ulster From Sodomy". That Executive collapsed in January 2017 and, following elections in March, no new Executive could be formed.

"It's one game. It'll be even tougher in Game 5, but we look forward to the challenge". The Warriors went on an 11-0 run to close the game. But history turned to infamy when they blew a 3-1 lead to the Cavaliers, the biggest collapse in NBA Finals history. LeBron James and Kyrie Irving were otherworldly in Game 3. Irving shot 11-for-14 and scored 28 points and James was 7-for-11 and had 22 points in the first half. That's usually an automatic ejection, but Green remained in the game. Put simply, that means the Cavaliers outscored the Warriors by seven points with James on the floor.

Golden State has a simple solution to stopping its opponents: switch everything.

Iguodala's line: 4 points (2-of-4 shooting from the field, 0-of-2 from the line), four assists, two blocks and one rebound. He could only watch as Kevin Durant of the Warriors sank a 3-pointer over the top of him, one final jolt from which the Cavaliers could not recover.

The series also serves as a rubber match for the teams. "We don't want to take the long threes and things like that".

"Obviously we have haven't felt this feeling walking off the court with a loss in a while, but we have done a good job of bouncing back and being resilient all year and obviously learning from all different experiences we have been through".
