Cavaliers end Warriors perfect post-season run

The Warriors added Durant last summer and made themselves unbeatable.

Through the first three games Cleveland was shooting just 29.8% from distance, a huge drop-off from their regular season numbers and a big drop-off from what they had been shooting in the first three rounds before the Finals. "We had a chance to win last night, and if we come out with the fight and intensity that we played with last game, clean up a few mistakes, then we have a chance to win on Friday".

"It took a while for it to kind of reveal itself consistently as the regular season went on, but once it clicked and the habits started to become second nature, it was kind of lovely to watch and an wonderful kind of style to play and watch unfold", Curry said.

"I don't want to relax", Durant said.

Will that difference carry over to Game 5 is a question for another day.

And with 1:10 left in the quarter, Zaza Pachulia and Kyle Korver were tied up on a loose ball. They made tough shots, they got it rolling.

Irving bounced back from a rough Game 2 with 38 points, including a couple of dazzling layups where he juked around multiple Warriors. The Cavs scored the most points in a half and recorded the most made 3s in a half in Finals history (13-for-22). The Warriors later flew out to visit Durant in the Hamptons and had a positive meeting that included Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, and Green telling Durant that they're all willing to sacrifice for him in order to win.

"Green was already working on that as he left Oracle Arena after that gutting Game 7 loss". It will be interesting to see if coach Tyronn Lue makes any lineup adjustments with Thompson giving him so little on the stat sheet. When they met last summer in NY to discuss the biggest decision of his career, neither side even focused on winning titles.

Over the years, Cavs-Warriors has become the NBA's best rivalry, and this year's lopsided Finals most likely won't help that. And they're playing like one of the best teams once again. "I mean, who am I to say if it's fair or not?"

But for whomever is closing the bar's sake, let's hope Steph Curry doesn't break his postseason record of 3's in a postseason game he set earlier this postseason.

Cyber attack hits Al Jazeera as Qatar row continues
Qatar's friends who retain a plausible chance at national leadership, in Libya and Yemen, may have the most to lose from the row. Bilateral trade totaled $710 million previous year . "For Qatar, we want you back among the unity of responsible nations".

Not to be overshadowed, Kyrie Irving put up 40 points, including seven three-pointers, while Kevin Love had 23 points.

At one point, it was announced that Golden State's Draymond Green had been given his second technical foul and security came onto the floor to usher the volatile forward to the locker room.

OH, yes, LeBron James is the world's greatest basketball player today.

What the Cavaliers had done to Eastern Conference foes through the first three rounds of the 2017 Playoffs is being done to them by Golden State.

"I knew I had to give LeBron at least a two-minute blow in that first quarter because in the second half he might not get a blow", Lue said.

But Cleveland emerged from halftime energized.

But he sarcastically responded to them Friday before Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers, saying they were right and "they would all kill us".

Things looked good for the Cavs when they put up a 33-point third quarter and carried their momentum into the fourth. "I think I play with great length, and Kyrie's been hot all night, and I think that I just did a good job of not falling for any of his moves, because he's real shifty, and just stayed in front of him, and luckily he missed the shot". "Most guys who don't want to take those shots don't want to deal with the repercussions of if you miss, because that is a awful feeling. Fatigue will play a role". Love contributed to Cleveland's 3-point barrage, going 6-of-8 from beyond the arc. As this was being sorted out, Todd Leebow, a friend of James who was sitting with the three-time champion's business partners, got involved in an argument with Golden State's bench and was asked to leave.

By the rhythm of his dribble, James knew Durant was about to shoot.
